Chris Paul set to return to Clippers’ lineup vs. Wizards

Chris Paul back in the starting line up after missing the last three games with bruised knee.

USA TODAY Sports

Chris Paul is set to return to the Los Angeles Clippers line up after missing the last three games with a bruised knee and the Clippers host the Washington Wizards. The news comes from the Wizards' official Twitter account, which reported Paul's return about 30 minutes before tip-off.

Paul injured his knee towards the end of the Clippers' loss in Orlando last Saturday. Paul briefly left the game but was able to return. He then missed Clippers wins against the Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Paul comes in to the game averaging 16.8 points, 9.7 assists and a league-leading 2.6 steals per game. The Clippers are currently one game behind the Oklahoma City Thunder for first place in the Western Conference and are just a half game ahead of the third place San Antonio Spurs.
