Blazers vs. Bucks final: Bucks hold off late charge, beat Blazers 110-104

The Milwaukee Bucks held off a late charge from the Portland Trail Blazers to pick up a big 110-104 road win.

The Milwaukee Bucks got a throwback night of sorts from Ersan Ilyasova, as his 27 points and 14 rebounds led the Bucks to a big 110-104 road win against the Portland Trail Blazers Saturday night.

That stat line was reminiscent of the lines Ilyasova routinely posted last season, which prompted the Bucks to sign him to a five-year, $40 million contract in the offseason. Ilyasova's numbers are their lowest since his rookie year, but his play Saturday night helped push the Bucks to a key road win as they continue to chase the Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls for first place in the Central Division. The Bucks also got 30 points from Brandon Jennings, who scored nine of Milwaukee's final 11 points to hold off a late Portland charge.

Down 16 with just under four minutes to play, Portland went on a 12-0 run before Jennings and Monta Ellis free throws put the game on ice. Damian Lillard continued to boost his Rookie of the Year candidacy, netting 26 points and 10 assists. LaMarcus Aldridge added 20 points and 14 rebounds.

The win moved the Bucks to 21-18 on the season, while the Blazers fell to 20-20.
