The Los Angeles Clippers just keep rolling. After winning three straight without their captain Chris Paul, the NBA's best point guard returned to lead the Clippers to a 94-87 victory over the Washington Wizards.

Chris Paul returned to lead the Los Angeles Clippers over the Washington Wizards, spoiling John Wall’s best game since returning from injury.

For most of the day it looked like the game was going to be a match-up of two former Kentucky backcourt teammates, John Wall and Eric Bledsoe. Then, 30 minutes before tip, news broke that Paul would be in the Clippers’ starting line-up. Paul scored 22 points and dished out 11 assists in his return, including seven fourth-quarter points to hold off a Wizards fourth-quarter charge.
Wall had easily his best game since coming back from injury, scoring 24 points and totaling six assists in just 30 minutes of play. Wall had the Wizards within one with just over a minute to go when he fed Nene for lay up. Blake Griffin scored on the other end to make it 89-86. Wall was then called for a palming violation. On the next play, Paul sank a 17-foot jumper which sealed the game for the Clippers.
Bledsoe came off the bench to score 11 points, seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks. The third-year guard increased his trade value in Paul’s absence, averaging 11.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
