Lakers vs. Raptors results: Dwight Howard ejected in 108-103 loss

The Los Angeles Lakers dropped their second game in a row, falling 108-103 to the Toronto Raptors. The loss is the Lakers second straight while the Raptors snap a four-game losing streak.

Toronto got off to a great start, beginning the game with a 19-4 run before the Lakers composed themselves. Los Angeles closed to within 29-20 at the end of the first quarter and 53-49 at the half. The Lakers lost a key player shortly before halftime when Dwight Howard received his second technical foul of the game and was ejected.

Howard picked up his first technical foul midway through the first quarter. He got tangled up with Toronto's Alan Anderson late in the half. Both players were awarded double technicals and Howard was ejected.

The Raptors extended the lead to as many as 19 points in the second half before the Lakers again made a run. A jump shot and two free throws by Jose Calderon helped stop the run.

Calderon led the way for the Raptors, finishing with 22 points and nine assists. Landry Fields and Ed Davis chipped in 18 points each. Kobe Bryant led all scorers with 26 points while going 10 for 32 from the field. Pau Gasol added 25 points while Steve Nash chipped in 16 and nine assists.
