Paul suffered the injury in a game vs. the Orlando Magic when the floor general bumped knees with Orlando Magic guard J.J. Redick and was subsequently diagnosed with a knee contusion. He missed three games before returning to action vs. the Washington Wizards on Jan. 19.

In 39 games in the 2012-13 season, Paul has averaged 16.6 points, 9.7 assists and 2.6 steals per game and has helped lead Los Angeles to a 32-10 record heading into the contest against the Thunder.

With Paul as their coach on the floor, the Clippers are seventh in the NBA in points per game, averaging 101.6 while allowing just 93.0 points per game on defense, good for a 4th place ranking among NBA teams.

The Clippers are in first place in the Pacific division and sit firmly in the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference.
