Rockets vs. Nets final: Houston dominates Brooklyn, 119-106

The Houston Rockets overcame Deron Williams’ hot shooting night to earn their second win in a row.

Four Houston starters scored in double figures as the Rockets dominated the Brooklyn Nets, 119-106, on Saturday.

James Harden led the Rockets with 29 points and seven assists on 7-of-15 shooting from the field and 13-of-14 from the free throw line.

Omer Asik recorded a double-double with 20 points and 16 rebounds while Chandler Parsons had 16 points and 11 assists. Asik and Parsons combined to shoot 16-of-23 from the field for the Rockets. Jeremy Lin was the fourth Rockets' starter in double figures and just missed a double-double of his own, as he scored 14 points while dishing out nine assists.

The win was Houston's second in a row as the Rockets improved to 24-22 on the season to extend their lead for the eighth spot in the Western Conference to a full game over the Portland Trail Blazers and 4.5 games over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Deron Williams led the Nets with 27 points and 11 assists on 10-of-15 shooting from the field, including 5-of-9 from three-point territory. The loss was Brooklyn's second in a row.
