Celtics’ Rajon Rondo out for season with torn ACL

Earlier reports indicated that Rondo had hyperextended his knee during Boston’s overtime loss against Atlanta on Friday, but the news quickly worsened on Sunday soon after the point guard was quickly struck from the starting lineups.
Rondo played 45 minutes in the game against the Hawks.
