Lakers swingman Metta World Peace is moving back into the starting lineup Friday against the Clippers after coming off the bench for the previous six games, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

Looks like Mike D’Antoni is going to give Metta World Peace a second chance.
Darius Morris, who has started the past five games, is expected to move back to the bench in a corresponding lineup move.
World Peace started the first 25 games of the season for Los Angeles but head coach Mike D’Antoni moved him to the second unit in attempt to shake things up. World Peace averaged 14.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists coming off the pine after averaging 13.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists in his time as a starter.
The real reason for World Peace’s promotion seems to be Morris’ offensive ineptitude. Morris has averaged a meager 3.4 points in his last five starts and had more personal fouls (4) than points (3) in the Lakers most recent loss to Philadelphia.
