Philadelphia 76ers center Andrew Bynum told reporters on Monday that he's close to getting back into the basketball groove. Asked if he was doing any basketball-related activities, he said in this video interview that it's on the horizon.
Andrew Bynum injury update: 76ers’ C close to doing shooting drills
Philadelphia 76ers center Andrew Bynum was upbeat on Monday and said that he expects to begin doing shooting drills in the next few days.

“Not yet, but that’s coming real soon,” he said. “The next couple of days here I should be, you know, up to running and stand-still shots.”
Bynum added that he was already back to running on the treadmill.
The Philadelphia Inquirer’s John Mitchell tweeted that Bynum appeared anticipatory during his update to the media on Monday, and the center has no more scheduled appointments with Dr. David Altchek. There is still no timetable for Bynum’s return, however.
The 7’ center was cleared to begin rehab in mid-December after separate bone bruises on each knee followed offseason surgery. Each set back Bynum’s return date.
The center, who after being traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Sixers, has yet to play a game for Philadelphia.
