The Los Angeles Lakers got more bad news on Monday when an MRI revealed that key reserve Jordan Hill suffered a partially torn hip muscle and that the big man will miss at least one week, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Jordan Hill injury: Lakers big man reportedly out at least a week
The injuries to the Lakers’ frontcourt keep piling on with the latest news of the key reserve’s hip injury.

Hill has been one of the biggest bright spots on a Lakers team that has otherwise had little reason to celebrate. He is often the most active player on the floor and is willing to do the dirty work while averaging 6.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
The Lakers have four games in six nights, beginning with back-to-back games in Houston and San Antonio before heading home to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. They'll also be playing without the services of Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard.
Hill signed a two-year, $8 million extension to remain in Los Angeles during the offseason after joining the team via trade from the Houston Rockets.
