The New York Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony was suspended by the NBA on Wednesday after his post-game confrontation with the Boston Celtics’ Kevin Garnett.

Anthony will miss Thursday's game against the Indiana Pacers, who are coming off a big 87-77 win against the Miami Heat. The absence of Anthony will hurt against the Pacers, who are one of the better defensive squads in the NBA.
The New York Knicks forward, who had his worst shooting performance of the year against Boston, was reportedly yelling outside of the Celtics locker room following Monday's 102-96 loss. He then waited at the Boston team bus and had to be removed by security officials.
Anthony hit 6-of-26 shots, or 23 percent, from the field in the frustrating loss to the Celtics.
Garnett later played the incident off and said it was just basketball, but Anthony told Chris Sheridan that Garnett’s trash-talk crossed the line.
