Eric Gordon will make his 2013-14 NBA debut and is expected to be in the New Orleans Pelicans' starting lineup when they play the Oklahoma City Thunder Thursday night, according to Pelicans reporter Jim Eichenhofer. This will be the first look at Gordon alongside new Pelicans point guard Jrue Holiday, though Tyreke Evans is nursing a mild ankle injury.
Eric Gordon to make preseason debut for Pelicans
The Pelicans will have Eric Gordon in the staring lineup for the first time since a busy summer of changes.

Gordon was held out of games for the first two weeks of preseason as a precaution while he improved his conditioning. He underwent arthroscopic ankle surgery in May and had only recently been cleared to participate in basketball activities.
He has missed significant time due to injuries, playing in a total of 51 games since being traded to New Orleans as a centerpiece in the deal that sent Chris Paul to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Pelicans continued to build their roster up since trading Paul and are now locked in after being re-branded as the Pelicans.
