The San Antonio Spurs unveiled photos of their camouflage alternate jerseys on Thursday and announced they will wear them twice in the 2013-14 season. The Spurs will pull out the military-inspired threads Nov. 13 against the Washington Wizards and again on Feb. 28, when they host the Charlotte Bobcats.

The alternate uniforms are part of adidas’ NBA Pride Uniform series, which is “inspired by each team’s core identity, history or region.” San Antonio is home to approximately 300,000 current and former members of the United States military and government. The Army’s Fort Sam Houston, Randolph Air Force Base and Lackland Air Force Base are all in San Antonio.

"Playing in San Antonio, we're constantly reminded of the selflessness and courage of those that serve," said Spurs guard Danny Green in a press release. "We owe them a debt of gratitude and it is an honor to recognize and show support to all active and retired military members."

Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green were the Spurs players chosen to model the new uniforms, but Leonard apparently wasn't all that thrilled with the new look.

The jerseys feature contemporary camouflage of sand and olive with the spur logo on the front and the team’s traditional black and silver stripes running down the sides. Here’s a closer look.
