Russell Westbrook injury update: Thunder G could return in two weeks
The Thunder guard could see action as early as mid-November.

Several earlier reports had the All-Star out for four to six weeks, which makes this latest news especially encouraging for Oklahoma City. He underwent a second knee surgery in October in order to reduce swelling in his right knee after undergoing season-ending surgery last season.
Westbrook tore the lateral meniscus in his knee midway through the second quarter of a 105-102 win against the Houston Rockets in the 2013 NBA playoffs. He missed all of training camp and the preseason, but now could be back as early as mid-November if he doesn't experience another setback in his rehabilitation.
The former UCLA Bruin has been an NBA iron man since entering the league in 2008 and played in all 82 regular season games last season, averaging 23.9 points and 7.6 assists in his third straight All-Star campaign.
