After a lackluster first half, the Los Angeles Lakers opened the floodgates on the Detroit Pistons in the second half of a 114-99 victory on Sunday night. The Lakers outscored the Pistons 64-43 in the second half.

The Lakers capped off a rather quiet NBA Sunday with a win over the Pistons.

Jordan Hill notched a career-high 24 points and 17 rebounds in the win. Jodie Meeks and Nick Young scored 19 points apiece for the Lakers, who shot 52.2 percent overall and 10-of-25 from three.
Steve Blake racked up 16 assists on the night, part of a 33-assist effort for Los Angeles. Blake has been an assist machine since being inserted into the starting lineup:

Brandon Jennings had 23 points and 14 assists for Detroit in the loss. One of those assists was an incredible dime to Andre Drummond off the backboard for a slam:
Drummond recorded a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Portland Trail Blazers 118, Toronto Raptors 110 (OT)
The Blazers blew a 17-point fourth quarter lead, but Damian Lillard and Nicolas Batum saved the day in the extra frame. Lillard and Batum combined for 13 points in the overtime period to give Portland their sixth straight win.
Lillard had 25 points, scoring the first seven points of the overtime for Portland, including the go-ahead basket with just under two minutes remaining. Batum had 24 points on the day and helped secure the victory with two straight three-pointers down the stretch in overtime.
The game went to overtime after a Rudy Gay layup as time expired capped off a huge Raptors comeback. Toronto trailed 91-74 with 8:18 to play before a late charge led by Gay tied the game up:
Gay finished the game with a double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds. DeMar DeRozan had 29 points.
Zach Randolph had 22 points and 10 rebounds as the Grizzlies held off the Kings in the second half. Marc Gasol and Mike Conley both added 19 points in the victory.
Memphis appeared to be on cruise control early in the second half, opening up a 20-point lead. Sacramento closed to within three points in the fourth quarter, but a 7-0 run by the Grizzlies shut down hopes of what would have been a shocking comeback.
Not a single Kings starter scored in double figures. Travis Outlaw had 18 points off the bench in defeat, while Isaiah Thomas had 15.
