The Denver Nuggets' bench was locked in and carried their team to a 97-87 victory over the Chicago Bulls. Denver opened the fourth quarter on a 13-0 run, pulling ahead by 21 points and putting the game out of reach for Chicago. The Nuggets' reserves had a big night, scoring 49 points. Jordan Hamilton finished the night with a team-high 17 points off the bench and made three of his six shots from beyond the arc.

Derrick Rose scored 19 points on 9-of-20 shooting. He was effective around the rim but struggled from mid-range, making just three of his 12 attempts from outside the paint.
Ty Lawson finished with 10 points and seven assists for Denver.

Chicago forward Carlos Boozer finished with a double-double, notching 15 points (7-of-18 shooting) and 10 rebounds. Luol Deng struggled from the field, making only three of his 18 field goal attempts. Joakim Noah scored 11 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and nearly finished with triple-double by dropping a game-high eight assists.
Chicago struggled in the third quarter, scoring only 14 points. Boozer and Deng combined to go 2-for-10 in the quarter, allowing Denver to add on to their two-point halftime lead. The Bulls outrebounded the Nuggets, 58-48, led by Deng’s game-high 13 boards.
