Utah Jazz rookie point guard Trey Burke will start his first NBA game Sunday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, reports the Deseret News' Jody Genessy.
Trey Burke debuts as Jazz starter against Thunder
The rookie point guard will move into the starting lineup in his third game back from a broken finger.

Burke missed the first 12 games of the season while recovering from surgery that repaired a broken finger, but he has come off the bench in his two games back. Playing behind John Lucas III, who will now come off the bench, Burke scored 11 points in 12 minutes in his debut. He then produced five points, five rebounds and three assists in his second NBA game.
Burke's night got a tad bit easier when the Thunder decided to rest point guard Russell Westbrook against the 1-13 Jazz. The rookie will still have to defend Reggie Jackson, who replaces Westbrook in the starting lineup and is averaging 9.7 points per game.
Burke, who left Michigan after his sophomore season, was drafted ninth overall in the 2013 draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves, but was traded to Utah for two later first-round picks on draft night.
