The Grizzlies did their best without their defensive anchor, Marc Gasol, but it wasn't quite enough to hold off the Rockets' attack in the fourth quarter as Houston pulled out a 93-86 road win on Monday.

Houston beats the Gasol-less Grizzlies, but manages just 12 assists.


The James Harden-less Rockets got 15 points and seven rebounds from Dwight Howard and 17 points from Chandler Parsons, and they held Memphis to just 41 percent shooting in an inefficient offensive showing for both sides. Omri Casspi pumped in 14 off the bench.
Zach Randolph had just 13 points and six boards in his first game without his big front-court mate by his side, and the Grizzles shot just 42 percent. Tayshaun Prince led Memphis with 16 points. Kosta Koufos, Gasol's replacement, scored just eight points but snagged 13 boards in 31 minutes.
Both teams combined to shoot just 10-for-37 from three, and Houston managed to win despite recording just 12 assists all night.
