Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo continues his rehab efforts after undergoing surgery in February to repair his torn ACL and still hasn't been cleared for full team practices. Rondo is expected to meet with Dr. James Andrews between Dec. 7-10 to check-in on his progress, reports Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald.
Rajon Rondo meeting with doctor in December, according to report
There’s still no timetable for a Rajon Rondo return, but he’s expected to get an update on his leg in early December.

Rondo previously stated his leg feels about “87 percent, give or take” in October. Boston has not put a timetable on his return, though teammate Jared Sulling previously said in a radio interview that he hoped Rondo could return in December.
The Celtics have lost 10 of their first 16 games and are also without rookie Kelly Olynyk as he deals with an ankle injury. Their defensive efficiency is 13th out of 30 teams, but their offense is in the bottom five of the NBA, struggling with new personnel and rookie head coach Brad Stevens. Boston is averaging 99.2 points per 100 possessions, according to Basketball-Reference.
