Atlanta Hawks sharpshooter Kyle Korver is suffering from a rib contusion and did not travel with the team to face the Houston Rockets on Wednesday. He is listed as day-to-day, reports Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Korver is one game with a made three-point field goal away from matching Dana Barros' NBA record of 89 consecutive games with a made three-point shot. Missing a game due to injury does not break the streak, however.

The next game for the Hawks will be Friday when they host the Dallas Mavericks. Korver has started in all 15 games for the Hawks, averaging 11.7 points per game. He's shooting an even 50 percent from beyond the arc on 5.1 three-point attempts per game.

Shelvin Mack and Lou Williams will also miss the Hawks' game against the Rockets, the team officially announced. Atlanta has gone 8-7 through the start of the season and currently have the third-best winning percentage in the Eastern Conference.
