Paul George poured in a game-high 31 points and added 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals as the Indiana Pacers stayed perfect by defeating the Detroit Pistons, 99-91.

The Pacers had some weak moments, but managed to put the Pistons away for good behind stellar performances from Roy Hibbert and Paul George.


The Pistons (2-2) went on a 16-2 run in the fourth quarter, but in the end Indiana did enough to put them away for good and improve its record to 4-0.
The Pacers got off to a fast start by outscoring the Pistons, 29-14, in the first quarter before faltering in the second, scoring just nine during the entire frame while Detroit poured in 27.
Brandon Jennings led the way for the Pistons with 17 points and added six assists and two steals. He wasn't efficient, however, as he went just 6-for-20 from the field and also committed four turnovers. Greg Monroe notched a double-double for the Pistons with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Roy Hibbert did a little bit of everything for Indiana to fill up the stat sheet, including posting a whopping seven blocked shots. Adding eight points and 10 rebounds, he even found time to dish out two assists, one of which looked like this:
Indy will take its perfect record to Chicago on Thursday night when it meets the Bulls in the second leg of a back-to-back on national television. Detroit will have plenty of time to regroup as it will host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday.
