The NBA warned Houston Rockets guard James Harden for his flop in a game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday.
James Harden warned by NBA for flop against Blazers
A little more than a week into the season, the Houston Rockets’ James Harden became the sixth player to earn a flopping warning.

Midway through the third quarter and with the Rockets leading 67-52, Harden went up for a fadeaway jump shot on the left wing and shot over the outstretched arm of Blazers guard Wes Matthews. While coming down, Harden reacted with a delayed flinch that drew a foul call on Matthews. Replays show Matthews putting his hand in Harden’s face, but it appears that there was no contact.
Wesley Matthews was hit with T for protesting after Harden's flop. Later called Harden "creative."

Harden finished the game with 33 points on 8-for-11 shooting, and he also had three assists and eight turnovers in the 116-101 victory.
The Rockets guard is the sixth player to earn a flopping warning from the league a little more than a week into the 2013-14 season. John Wall, Kevin Love, Corey Brewer, Zaza Pachulia and Patty Mills have also received flopping warnings. Upon their second flopping offense, players will be fined $5,000.
