Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders released an apology for his involvement in a fight at a downtown Milwaukee club Saturday night.
Larry Sanders issues apology for involvement in club fight
The Bucks’ big man issued a statement regarding his involvement in a fight he was under investigation for.

“I’ve talked to the team and apologized to them, just for shedding a negative light on our team, on our organization. It’s not what we’re about at all, it’s not who we are, it’s not what we stand for,” Sanders said. “I offer my apologies to everyone, especially the fans.”
The full apology can be watched here on the Bucks’ official site.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney will not press charges for the altercation, but confirmed Sanders and “numerous people” were involved in the fight. Two victims were hospitalized, one of whom required eight stitches.
Sanders did not play in the Bucks game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday because of a thumb injury following the altercation on Saturday. Milwaukee next hosts the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday after two days off since their win against the Cavaliers.
