After playing during the preseason, he strained his calf, suffering another setback that put his return on hold.

Indiana is holding team's to a league-best 96.1 points per 100 possessions, though their offensive efficiency is still in the middle of the pack at 13th overall, according to Basketball-Reference.

Granger played in five games during the Pacers 2012-2013 campaign, dealing with leg injuries for the past two seasons. He has averaged at least 20 points per game from the 2008-2009 season through his last healthy season, 2011-2012, and could fit in well as the Pacers’ scoring threat off the bench.
Indiana’s bench is averaging 24.1 points per game, the fifth-lowest mark in the NBA, according to Hoops Stats.
