LaMarcus Aldridge came up with a huge performance for the Portland Trail Blazers in a 111-104 victory over the Houston Rockets. Aldridge finished the game with 31 points and 25 rebounds, notching his second 30-20 outing of the season.

The Rockets and Trail Blazers played a tight game, but LaMarcus Aldridge’s big second half was enough to put Portland over the top.


Aldridge started the game going just 3-for-10 through the first two quarters but came out firing in the second half. He scored 14 points and only missed one of his seven field goal attempts in the third quarter and finished the second half with 23 points and 15 rebounds.
It was a battle between two big men with much different skill sets. Dwight Howard also put together a big game, dropping 32 points on 14-of-22 shooting along with 17 rebounds.
The Blazers opened the fourth quarter on an 10-0 run to pull away from Houston after going into the final frame tied at 76. James Harden finished with with 25 points.
