LeBron James told the Miami media that he is active for a Wednesday night game against the Indiana Pacers despite his previously questionable status due to a left ankle sprain, according to the Sun Sentinel's Ira Winderman.

The Miami Heat will have forward LeBron James available Wednesday night in a big game against the Indiana Pacers.

James was considered a game-time decision, but said he was ready to go despite not being 100 percent. His desire might have something to do with Miami facing their Eastern Conference rivals who are currently leading the conference. The fact that the Pacers dropped the Heat just more than a week ago in Indianapolis also helped James make a decision to play. Miami teammate Dwyane Wade told Winderman that the Heat don't want to lose at home, and they especially don't want to lose to one team twice this season.
Coach Erik Spoelstra will go with his usual starting lineup of Mario Chalmers, Shane Battier, Chris Bosh, Wade and James.

James sprained his ankle Monday in a win against the Utah Jazz and didn't appear at Wednesday shootaround before decided to give it a go. This season, he is averaging 25.3 points on 59.8 percent shooting from the floor to go with 6.8 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game.
