Los Angeles Clippers forward Matt Barnes will play against the Denver Nuggets in Los Angeles on Saturday, reports Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times. Barnes missed the Clippers' last 16 games after tearing the retina in his left eye. He will wear protective goggles as a precaution.
Matt Barnes will return from eye injury against Nuggets
The Clippers are gaining wing depth with Matt Barnes set to return.

Barnes has played in only eight of the Clippers' 27 games this season, missing time because of a bruised right thigh, as well. The Clippers are dealing with injuries in the wings thanks to rookie Reggie Bullock missing time after spraining his ankle and J.J. Redick expecting to miss more than a month after injuring his hand and elbow.
Barnes has averaged 5.9 points and 4.3 rebounds in 20 minutes per game off the bench. The Clippers have won four of their last five, and both their offensive and defensive efficiency rank in the top 10 of the NBA, according to Basketball-Reference.
Barnes re-signed with the Clippers as an unrestricted free agent this summer after averaging a career-high 10.3 points per game last season. His return will be a boost to the team’s depleted depth at shooting guard and small forward.
