Anthony sprained his ankle Monday during the Knicks' victory over the Orlando Magic. Anthony left the game early and has undergone treatment since the injury occurred to make him available for the Knicks' game against the Thunder Wednesday. It was reported that Anthony was expected to play through the injury, but the decision has been made to sit him out in a marquee game between the top-two scorers in the NBA.

Kevin Durant leads the league, scoring 28.1 points per game, while Anthony trails him at 26.3 points per game. Kenyon Martin is expected to play against the Thunder after missing time with an abdominal strain. Raymond Felton aggravated his groin injury on Monday and will not play against the Thunder.
