Playing without LeBron James, the Heat found a way to sneak out of Portland with a one-point win thanks to Chris Bosh's 37 points and 10 rebounds. Bosh hit the game-winning three-pointer with 0.5 seconds left, snapping Portland's 11-game win streak against Eastern Conference opponents.
Indiana Pacers 105, Brooklyn Nets 91
One would have pegged this as a marquee game before the season started, but that hasn't been the case. Brooklyn's struggles continued in Indiana as it lost its fifth game in six tries. The Pacers' Paul George led all scorers with 24 points.
Toronto Raptors 115, New York Knicks 100
Playing without Carmelo Anthony, the Knicks have lost two straight games in a back-to-back against the Raptors. Kyle Lowry's game-high 32 points and 11 assists was too much for a dysfunctional New York squad.
Boston Celtics 103, Cleveland Cavaliers 100
Down just two, Dion Waiters' shot attempt at the rim was blocked by Brandon Bass as the Celtics held on late at home. This, despite Kris Humphries' humble attempt to score on his own basket.
It’s a real nice gesture, Hump, to try to help one of the league’s worst offenses, but you’re trying to win this game.
Atlanta Hawks 118, Charlotte Bobcats 116
Lou Williams scored 10 of his 28 points in overtime to power the Hawks past the Bobcats. Wait, how did they get to overtime? OFF A PERO ANTIC GAME-TYING STEP BACK THREE-POINTER OFF ONE LEG? No, really.
Washington Wizards 106, Detroit Pistons 82
Shooting 40 percent from the field and turning the ball over 22 times is a sure-fire way to lose a basketball game. That’s what the Pistons did against the Wizards. John Wall led all scorers with 20 points and added 11 assists to his stat sheet.
Dallas Mavericks 105, Chicago Bulls 83
The Bulls are not going to win basketball games if they give up more than 100 points. Without Derrick Rose, their offense just isn’t creative enough to keep up with high scoring offenses. Dallas is high-scoring. You do the math.
Houston Rockets 107, New Orleans Pelicans 98
Dwight Howard’s 24 points and 18 rebounds led the Rockets past the Pelicans. Anthony Davis scored 18 points and collected 16 boards, but it wasn’t enough for New Orleans. Tyreke Evans scored just 16 points on 21 shots, which is not ideal.
Memphis Grizzlies 120, Denver Nuggets 99
The Grizzlies scored 120 points. Wait, read that again. THE GRIZZLIES SCORED 120 POINTS! How? 62 bench points definitely helps. It also helps that Denver isn’t very good at defense. Don’t look now, but the Nuggets have lost six straight for the first time since 2004.
We’re at the point where we’re numb to Kevin Love’s box score, aren’t we? Love finished with 33 points, 15 rebounds and six assists, which would be a mighty task in a video game. But Love does things like this all the time.
Phoenix Suns 115, Philadelphia 76ers 101
Four different Suns scored at least 18 points and the team collected 57 rebounds in a bounce-back win against the Sixers. Thad Young led all scorers with 30 points and, apparently, made some history.

Poor Enes Kanter had no chance stopping a locked-in Blake Griffin. Griffin punished the third-year big man with 40 points on 20 shots to go along with his 10 rebounds. Also, Chris Paul was a rebound short of a triple-double, so that's fun.
