The Toronto Raptors have confirmed that Rudy Gay will be making his team debut Friday against the Clippers after all players involved in Wednesday's trade successfully passed their physicals.

Toronto will be treated to the new face of their franchise Friday now that all players involved in Wednesday’s blockbuster trade have passed their physicals.

Gay has averaged 17.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists through 42 games with Memphis this season. He should have no problem stepping in and becoming the Raptors’ leading scorer right away.
Ed Davis, Tayshaun Prince and Austin Daye are also expected to be available for the Grizzlies Friday when they host the Wizards, according to ESPN's Chris Vernon. All three players should provide some much-needed depth for a Memphis team that has lacked a consistent punch off the bench throughout the entirety of the season.
Unfortunately for Pistons fans hoping to see their new point guard, Jose Calderon will most likely be forced to watch from the sidelines Friday due to issues with his work visa, according to head coach Joe Dumars. Fox Sports' Dave Hogg is reporting that Calderon has been unable to get his U.S. work visa on short notice after playing on a Canadian work visa all season long. There's a good chance that the Spaniard will miss Sunday's game against the Lakers too as this process drags along.
