Raymond Felton went down hard in the third quarter of the New York Knicks' Sunday afternoon game against the Los Angeles Clippers, holding the back of his head after he took big shots to his face and neck. His own teammate, Amare Stoudemire, inadvertently got him under the chin with an elbow, which propelled his head into the chest and arm of Lamar Odom.

Felton walked off slowly under his own power a few minutes later and headed to the locker room, assisted by Knicks trainers. Felton had 12 points and four assists so far in the game. He had missed an extended period of time earlier in the season with a hand injury, and the Knicks’ play as a team suffered.
The Knicks, mostly thanks to the hot shooting of Carmelo Anthony, came back to take the lead over the Clippers in the third after losing by double-digits in the first half, but without Felton's penetration, the last quarter and change should be nerve-wracking for Knicks fans.
UPDATE: Felton is back on the floor in the fourth quarter. He was just suffering from whiplash, not a concussion. Carry on.
