James Harden overcame an ankle injury to come on strong late and lift the Houston Rockets to a 116-107 victory on the road vs. the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night.

Houston (29-25) got a balanced effort across the board as seven players scored in double figures. They overcame a poor shooting night of 10-of-34 from the three-point line with defense and by getting to the free throw line where they shot 80 percent. They won the battle on the inside and outscored the Warriors 48-38 in the paint.
Stephen Curry led the way for Golden State (30-22), scoring 27 points and dishing out six assists in the losing effort. The Warriors shot the ball well enough to win, but couldn't get stops when it mattered most.
Harden suffered an ankle injury in the third quarter that provided a scare when the forward had to leave for the locker room, but he was able to return and finished with a game-high 27 points while adding seven rebounds and five assists. Jeremy Lin added 14 points and 10 assists.
