As usual, LeBron James was the star on Thursday, finishing the evening with 39 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists, his seventh straight game with at least 30 points. Chris Bosh added 20 points and Dwyane Wade 13 for a Miami club which now enters the All-Star break with a 36-14 record, tops in the Eastern Conference.
For Oklahoma City, it was a disappointing way to head into the All-Star break, as they lost to the defending NBA champions for the second time since Christmas Day. The Thunder got strong contributions from superstars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook who combined for 66 points, but got little production from anyone else. No other player on the Oklahoma City Thunder scored in double-figures.
Oklahoma City will enter the NBA All-Star with the second best record in the Western Conference. At the moment, the Thunder are 39-14 overall, trailing only San Antonio in the standings.
