Reigning All-Star Game MVP Kevin Durant has picked up right where he left off last year, scoring 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting to lead the Western Conference to a 69-65 lead at halftime of the 2013 All-Star Game in Houston.

Kevin Durant scored 19 points in the first half to lead the Western Conference to a four-point lead at the break.
Blake Griffin has 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting, with most of those buckets being dunks off nifty passes from teammate Chris Paul. The Clippers' point guard has dished out nine assists so far on the night. Kobe Bryant has also been in pass mode in the first half, handing out seven helpers to go along with five points. Durant's teammate Russell Westbrook has eight points.
Over on the East side, much of the damage has been done by the Miami Heat duo of Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. Wade leads the East with 12 points and six assists, while James has 10 points and multiple thunderous dunks. Carmelo Anthony also reached double figures in scoring for the East, putting in 10 points despite a bruised bicep.
The West has been leading throughout pretty much the entire half. They bolted out to a quick 10-4 lead and held a 31-26 lead after the first quarter. The East kept it close in the second quarter, but trailed by as many as eight late in the half before trimming the deficit back down to four at the break.
