Joe Johnson played the role of hero twice for the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night, first sending them to overtime and then winning the game there with a buzzer beater. It was the capper of a 24-point night for Johnson, who hit the two clutch shots that propelled the Nets past the Milwaukee Bucks 113-11 at the Barclays Center.

The Nets jumped in front early and led by 10 at the break, but Brandon Jennings brought the Bucks back in the third quarter. The point guard dropped 15 of his game-high 34 points in the third quarter to give the Bucks a one-point lead heading to the fourth quarter.

A back and forth fourth quarter saw the Nets get the ball down by three in the waning seconds when Johnson knocked down a three to send the game to overtime. After a similarly tense and close extra period, the Nets got the ball with the game tied and 10 seconds left to set up Johnson for the winner as time expired
