The game was never close, and Indiana (33-21) led by as many as 39 points. Paul George continued to solidify himself as a legitimate NBA All-Star with a strong line of 27 points, eight rebonds and three assists on 11-of-19 shooting from the field and 4-of-9 from the three-point line.
New York's shooting woes started with Carmelo Anthony, who was just 7-for-21 from the field and 1-for-6 from beyond the arc. Tyson Chandler was the unlikely scoring leader for New York (32-19) with 19 points and 11 rebounds, four of which came on the offensive end.
New York shot just 33.7 percent from the field and turned the ball over 15 times. They were 5-of-28 from the three-point line.
The Pacers got a little help from everyone, as 12 players registered at least one field goal in the contest. They had 21 turnovers, but they mitigated that issue by shooting 53.2 percent overall.
