Midway through the third quarter against the Thunder, Houston small forward Chandler Parsons was forced to leave the court after rolling his ankle, though he would return later.
Chandler Parsons injures ankle, returns
The Rockets forward had to be helped off the court after rolling his ankle but would return later.

As he ran in transition, Parsons stepped on former Rocket Kevin Martin’s foot. He had to be helped to the locker room as he couldn’t put his weight on the ankle.
Initially, there were concerns of the severity of the injury, which could have left Houston in a tough spot as they fight to hold on to the 8th seed in the Western Conference.
Parsons had been playing fairly well tonight prior to the injury, with 17 points on 13 shots before the injury. He also had a pair of threes, which helped keep Houston within striking distance during this game between two teams with intertwined recent histories with the Harden trade this past summer. His five turnovers led the team but the turnover battle between the two teams has been rather even.
