The injury occurred during the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, when Gibson stepped on Kevin Martin's foot and his knee awkwardly twisted. He tried to play through the pain, but was clearly bothered enough to exit minutes later.
Joakim Noah, Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng have all missed time with various ailments over the past month, and Gibson's injury comes at a time when the Bulls are going through a rough stretch.
