Tony Parker injury: Spurs guard says he expects to play Wednesday
The San Antonio Spurs will have Tony Parker ready to go on Wednesday against the Suns.

Parker sat on a game at Phoenix on Sunday with a triceps contusion after trying to play through the injury on Friday against the Golden State Warriors. In that one, a 107-101 overtime loss, Parker attempted to play through the pain, but the injury hampered his perimeter shooting.
Before the game against the Suns, Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich admitted that he didn't know the point guard's injury was as significant. With that, Popovich held Parker out.
Against the Suns, San Antonio came away with a 97-87 win without their potential MVP candidate. Six Spurs scored in double-figures as Nando de Colo earned the starting spot in place of Parker. Backup point guard Patty Mills, however, led the Spurs with 16 points in the victory.
