Brandon Jennings said that he sees himself fitting in the with the Dallas Mavericks, and though there's still a playoff spot to hang onto for the Milwaukee Bucks and their young point guard, it's not a secret that this upcoming offseason will give Jennings a chance to leave as a restricted free agent.

A restricted free agent, Milwaukee Bucks point guard Brandon Jennings could join the Dallas Mavericks this offseason.

The 23-year-old told The Dallas Morning News that he would be interested in joining the Mavericks:
“Who wouldn’t want to play in an environment like this every night? You’ve got an owner who’s so into his team and everything like that. Every time you see the Mavs, you see (Mark Cuban) cheering or going crazy. They won a championship. They’re about winning.”
Dallas might be welcome to the idea as well. Head coach Rick Carlisle has watched point guard Darren Collison's first season with the Mavs consist of many highs, but also many lows. Backup midseason signee Mike James, who is 37 years old, has sometimes taken minutes from Collison this year.
Jennings, meanwhile, is averaging 18.9 points and 6.1 assists per game and is part of a Bucks team that is holding onto the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The former 10th overall pick admitted to DMN that he's thought about playing the pick-and-roll with Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki. That could very well help the point guard's shooting percentage, which has never exceeded 41.8 percent, partially because Jennings has often been the best scoring option since coming into the league with the Bucks.
