Former No. 1 draft pick Greg Oden, who hasn't played in a game since December 2009 with the Portland Trail Blazers due to serious knee injuries that have threatened his career, is reportedly on the radar of the Boston Celtics.

Oden, a free agent who is still recovering from his latest injury and not yet ready to play, is still exploring options to potentially get ready to attempt a comeback next season. The Celtics had exploratory talks with Oden this week, according to Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald.
“We’re just finding out as much as we can and letting Greg know what we have here,” Ainge told Bulpett. “He’s not ready to play now, but he’s someone who’s very interesting.”
Oden, who has averaged 9.4 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game for his career and is still just 25 years old, has previously expressed an interest in playing for the Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
