Bulls vs. Pacers final score: Indiana survives sloppy 4th quarter, wins 111-101

The Pacers got a strong outing from David West as they overcame a late run from the Bulls to come out on top.

USA TODAY Sports

David West continued his outstanding play, leading the Indiana Pacers past the Chicago Bulls, 111-101, on Monday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Indiana (29-19) struggled early in the fourth quarter, but managed to overcome their shooting woes and pull away late in the quarter to secure the win. West was outstanding for the Pacers, scoring 29 points on 11-of-18 shooting and adding nine rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots. Paul George did more than his fair share, adding 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Marco Belinelli led the Bulls (29-19) off the bench with 24 points on 9-of-13 shooting. Chicago got a balanced attack, as seven players scored in double figures, including all five starters.

The game featured four lead changes and five ties, remaining close for most of the evening. Indiana’s 16 turnovers kept Chicago in the game, despite the Bulls shooting just 44.3 percent from the field and 25 percent from the three-point line.
