The Orlando Magic have been shopping J.J. Redick for quite some time, and according to ESPN's Marc Stein, the Milwaukee Bucks are looking to jump into the mix for the sharpshooter.

The Bucks need shooting and have several expiring contracts to go along with all their future first round picks the next few years, so they would make a nice trade partner with the Magic for J.J. Redick.

Stein also reports that the Magic are looking for an expiring contract and a future first-round pick for Redick, who is currently slated to earn $6.2 million this season in the last year of his deal. The Bucks would fit the bill as a trade partner, as they currently have all their future first round picks over the next few years and possess several expirings in Beno Udrih ($7.4 million) and Samuel Dalembert ($6.7 million) that would work in a deal for Redick.
Redick is having the best season of his career for Orlando, averaging 15.3 points and 4.5 assists on 45.2 percent shooting overall and 39.9 percent shooting from three. Milwaukee could certainly use some three-point shooting, as they are middle-of-the-pack in both makes per game and three-point percentage.
The Bucks would like an assurance that they would be able to sign Redick after this season, but that probably should not stop them from making this deal if it came down to that. Milwaukee is currently four games ahead of the Philadelphia 76ers for the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference and could potentially move up a few spots if they were able to get a big boost from a player like Redick.
