The Oklahoma City Thunder prefer to keep backup point guard Eric Maynor this season but will remain open-minded about moving him as the NBA trade deadline approaches, according to Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports.
NBA trade rumors: Oklahoma City reportedly ‘open’ to moving Eric Maynor
Eric Maynor is averaging 2.8 points and 2.0 assists this season.

Spears also indicates that the Thunder has been getting “numerous inquiries” about Maynor as he remains underused in Oklahoma City this season.
Maynor is averaging 2.8 points and 2.0 assists in just 11 minutes a game in 36 appearances this season. Maynor missed seven consecutive games in January but has played sparingly in five of the team’s last seven games. Maynor played just nine games in the 2011-12 season before suffering a season-ending knee injury and has struggled to re-insert himself into the Thunder’s rotation this year.
Maynor played all 82 regular season games in 2010-11 and averaged 4.2 points and 2.9 assists in 15 minutes per game.
Second-year guard Reggie Jackson has surpassed Maynor on the Oklahoma City depth chart this season and is averaging 3.6 points and 2.1 rebounds in that role.
