Washington Wizards (18-39) rookie guard Bradley Beal continued his strong play with 29 points and 11 rebounds Friday, but it was not enough as the New York Knicks (35-20) beat the Wizards 96-88. It was New York's fourth straight win.

The Knicks used a strong fourth quarter to beat Washington Friday.
Carmelo Anthony scored 30 points for the Knicks, but struggled shooting the ball, shooting just 10 for 24 from the field. Raymond Felton scored 23 points. J.R. Smith and Amar'e Stoudemire came off the bench to score 13 and 12 points respectively.
The Wizards used a 29-19 advantage in the third quarter to take a lead into the fourth after trailing by six at halftime. John Wall finished with 16 points and six assists. Emeka Okafor had 10 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks. Trevor Ariza scored 15 points off the bench.
