Warriors vs. Celtics final score: Golden State struggles in 94-86 loss

Golden State’s top three guards combined to shoot 14 for 50 in loss to Celtics Friday.

Stephen Curry didn't have a magical follow-up to his 54-point performance against the New York Knicks Wednesday.

He scored 25 points Friday, but he shot just 6 for 22 as the Golden State Warriors (33-26) lost 94-86 to the Boston Celtics (31-27). It was Golden State's third straight loss.

Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 26 points and Jeff Green scored 18 points off the bench, but Boston's defense was key in the game. The Celtics held Golden State's top three guards, Curry, Klay Thompson and Jarrett Jack, to just 14 for 50 shooting. Golden State shot 32 percent for the game.

David Lee had 10 points and 19 rebounds for Golden State. Kevin Garnett had seven points and 13 rebounds for Boston. Boston led by four at halftime and entered the fourth quarter with a seven-point lead.
