Tony Parker injury: Spurs guard hurts left ankle
The San Antonio Spurs’ superstar point guard has gone down due to an injury against the Sacramento Kings.

Parker had 13 points and seven assists midway through the third quarter before exiting the game. He’s averaged 21.1 points and 7.6 assists per game during his incredible season thus far and is one of the top candidates for the NBA MVP award.
Without Parker on the floor, the creative burden has fallen on Manu Ginobili, though the Spurs aren't likely worried about anything short term. They're cruising against the Kings, and should coast into the playoffs even if Parker is out for an extended period of time. They're lacking a top-notch direct backup to Parker, however, and would miss him considerably even if they had one.
