The report indicates that Anthony is considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers, as well.

Posting and Toasting: Carmelo Anthony had his knee drained

Anthony missed three games earlier in the month while suffering from knee pain, but returned to action after the short absence. When the Knicks visited the Nuggets on Wednesday, he was pulled in the third quarter due to soreness in his right knee. On Thursday, the knee was drained in hopes it would relieve the stiffness and pain.

Meanwhile, Amar'e Stoudemire will miss six weeks after undergoing surgery on his right knee, and Tyson Chandler suffered a knee injury during the Knicks' loss to the Denver Nuggets and is considered "probable" against the Blazers on Friday.

The Knicks are in a tight race in the middle of the conference and are currently on track to take the third seed of the Eastern Conference playoffs. With injuries piling up, the Knicks will navigate the remaining 20 games on their schedule shorthanded.
