The Chicago Bulls (36-29) out-scored the Golden State Warriors (37-30) by 30 points in the second and third quarters Friday to cruise to a 113-95 win on the road.

The Chicago Bulls built a huge lead against the Warriors and held their top scorers in check Friday.


The Bulls led by one after the first quarter, but turned up the defense in the second and third, limiting the Warriors to just 36 points total for the two quarters while Chicago's offense exploded, particularly in the third when the Bulls scored 38 points. The Bulls held Golden State's high-scoring backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson to just 15 points combined on 5 for 22 shooting.
Carlos Boozer had 21 points and nine rebounds for the Bulls. Luol Deng scored 22 points, Joakim Noah had 16 points and 13 rebounds and Nate Robinson had 20 points and seven assists.
Jarrett Jack led Golden State with 20 points off the bench.
