USA TODAY Sports

LaMarcus Aldridge, Damian Lillard, and the Portland Trail Blazers were too much for the Chicago Bulls to handle as the Blazers picked up a 99-89 victory.

Aldridge had a strong night, scoring 28 points on 14-of-23 shooting while also pulling down eight rebounds. Lillard added in 24 points of his own with a side of seven assists, but also had five turnovers. The Blazers were hot from beyond the arc, making ten of their 21 attempts from long-distance, led by Lillard going four-for-seven. J.J. Hickson pulled down a game-high 21 rebounds and also had nine points

The Bulls struggled from beyond the arc, making only four of their 14 three-point attempts on the night. Joakim Noah led Chicago with 18 points and six rebounds. Carlos Boozer had a team-high 13 rebounds, but shot only 8-of-18 from the field on his way to 16 points. Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler combined for 26 points off the bench.

The Trail Blazers play the Atlanta Hawks Friday in Atlanta in the second half of their back-to-back. The Bulls host the Indiana Pacers Saturday.
